A banking institution has a network configured based on the schema below. Each branch consists of one LAN and all routers were completely configured and in full working order. However, just after a Network Admin made changes to the BankA router -- users on the BankA LAN are unable to ping the BankB router. Please investigate and fix the problem. The routers have been configured with the following specifications:
The routers are named BankA, BankB and BankC. |

Inside Tips: This question is very precise - you do not need to access any router other than BankA. (Everything was in working order prior to the changes on BankA)
Write down the configs for BankA along with a brief outline of the question before you attempt to do anything. Also, note the password and the directly connected interface IP address on BankB. If you do not -- you will fall apart in the exam. Miss a Lab - you're in trouble. Miss two of them and you will not pass the CCNA Exam. Remember that "show running-config" is your friend and as always - save your work. End the Lab by verifying connectivity between BankA and BankB. Note: This Lab may show up on the exam where you would have to verify connectivity between BankA and BankC. The same logic applies but you would have to complete the task within at least two routers. To be successful - take an incremental approach - one router at a time. |
