| CCNA Lab Console: | RIP Lab - Newspaper |
|
A Newspaper conglomerate has decided to provide network connectivity for three branches within the organization. Each branch is to have one LAN. NewsA and NewsB routers are completely configured. The NewsC router has been configured completely except for the routing protocol. Configure routing protocol RIP on the NewsC router. The routers have been configured with the following specifications.
The routers are named NewsA, NewsB and NewsC. |

Inside Tip: Click on Host F to connect to the Lab C router.
First up - write down the configs and a brief outline of the question. (In this case - NewsC config.) Don't forget the password. The trick to this lab is to know your Class network addresses. This Lab is nothing to do with IP addresses but everything to do with network addresses. There is a lot of information here but the question is very precise. Do not spend your valuable time on things you are not required to do. Remember - complete the task with a "copy running-config startup-config". I hate to "harp" on this --- but, write down the configs before you do anything. Do not start entering information into the CLI until you know exactly what you will input. Repeat - repeat -- write everything down. Miss one Lab - you are in trouble -- miss two and you will not pass the CCNA exam. |
